A closer look.

For writing and drafting with 0.5 mm pencil lead. Press the rear button to extend the tip; opening the clip retracts it. A window lets you indicate the lead hardness.

Before buying: choose PG1015 for 0.5 mm lead; other GRAPHGEAR 1000 model numbers use different lead sizes. Pentel lists Z2-1N as the replacement eraser. The silver assembled pencil is shown in the licensed photograph.
