A closer look.

Before buying: this is the original H1, not H1n, H1essential or H1 XLR. Recording uses microSD or microSDHC media. Power comes from one AA alkaline or NiMH battery, USB, or the separately sold ZOOM AD-17 adapter (DC5V, 1A). The recorder does not recharge batteries. Check the optional adapter’s regional mains rating and plug before use. Amazon identifies H1 ver.2; computer audio-interface functions require suitable firmware and host compatibility, which the photograph cannot establish. The original manual lists a test AA cell and 2GB microSD card; the seller lists a USB cable and software instead. Confirm the actual accessories and condition before purchase. Keep the recorder away from water and extreme temperatures.
